if you missed the may 2026 show, here’s how it went.
the balaclava-clad bassist introduced the premise up top and called out the morph-suit clad lorax. we did two hardcore songs, yelling and shredding.

then, the lorax got so upset, it had to rip it’s skin off.
the following song (and the rest of the set) was performed wearing paint and fur.
after another song, the lorax experienced an intense melancholy about the state of the world while the talented instrumentalist improvised sad piano music.
finally, the instrumentalist revived the lorax by playing a cover of joni mitchell’s big yellow taxi and getting the group to sing along.
climate change is real and it’s been real and sometimes the way your city manages its infrastructure is so upsetting that you and your roommate have to develop a bit into a loud, one-night-only act with music that goes way too hard and latex paint that is way too sticky.
thanks to kenya, fi, jakob, olivia, fern, and other friends for taking photos during the show. see ya next time.
